Fascia-nating!

Would you believe this is a piece of uninterrupted connective tissue (fascia) running up the back of the body from the bottom of the foot (plantar) to the top of the head (cranium)? This is why Myofascial Release is so effective: it treats the whole body, not just one affected area.

The word myofascial comes from myo meaning muscle and fascia meaning band. Also known as connective tissue, fascia is a three-dimensional web-like structure running throughout the body, surrounding all organs and structures, providing mobility and stability.

Fascia is affected by injury, inflammation or poor posture. Myofascial release is a holistic approach which promotes healing; it is a gentle, yet profound technique.
